If you were a person with limited mobility, what kind of transportation would you choose?

The most cost-effective means of transportation

If you were a person with limited mobility, what kind of transportation would you choose? Manual wheelchair, electric wheelchair, scooter or Handbike?

Faced with this question, when I first entered the medical rehabilitation equipment industry, I answered this way:

1.If I didn't completely lose the ability to walk, I would choose a scooter.

2.If I was completely incapable of walking, but I had strength in my arms, I would opt for an manual wheelchair. The process of using a manual wheelchair is also an exercise to avoid diabetes and obesity.

3.If I was completely incapacitated and had no strength in my arms, I would opt for an electric wheelchair. This is the most helpless choice.

4.If I'm a wheelchair user, and I like to travel long distances, such as fishing in the countryside on weekends. I would choose a handbike. Handbike has faster speed and longer travel distance.

The above answer is definitely a very standard answer. But after reaching out to countless consumers, my answer would be that I would choose the one I can afford.

Affordable, as I understand it, has two meanings. The first is the absolute price that can be accepted within the scope of one's own financial capacity. The other is to choose a better quality and more functional product within an acceptable price range.

For what functions different products can achieve, we have listed the following table.

Obviously, MIJO MT01+ manual wheelchair can achieve more functions than electric wheelchairs and scooters. If you already have a manual wheelchair, but you want to upgrade to an electric one, choosing a handbike is far more cost-effective than an electric wheelchair and a Scooter.

The original intention of MIJO was to design products with more functions that everyone can afford.
